Previous Conventions
Since its inception in 2000, the ACE Convention has been held in some of the UK's most impressive cultural locations.
Landmarks
Initially the Convention’s focus was on heritage retailing, so it was an obvious step to introduce the first trade exhibition in 2002. The number and variety of exhibitors has since grown, with a record number welcomed to the 2006 event in Bristol.
While the event became increasingly popular with retail managers, there was little to interest those in other fields. In 2004 we introduced specialist seminars for specialist publishers and, building on this success, a programme for those involved in venue and location hire and filming was held in 2006. This has been further developed with a program for publishers running alongside the event since 2008.
